Cloth Nappy Incentive Scheme Ireland
The Cloth Nappy Incentive Scheme is a pilot project to encourage the use of reusable nappies among families who may not otherwise have considered trying them! A limited number of families will be provided with a voucher number to be used to buy a cloth nappy starter kit worth well over €100. The voucher can be used to purchase the pre-packaged cloth nappy bundles available here or alternatively use the voucher towards €100 in other reusable nappies sold on our website.
This pilot scheme will run for a limited time and only until the limited vouchers have been distributed. Participation in the pilot will be subject to follow up interviews on your experiences using the nappies.
As part of the pilot programme participants are required to take part in follow-up surveys and interviews, this is to look at the impact of the scheme! There will be a survey when you first receive the nappies, an interview in February 2023 and a final survey in September 2023.
To be eligible for the scheme you must:
- Be a permanent resident of Fingal County Council, Dublin City Council, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Limerick City & County, or Kerry County Council.
- Be pregnant or have a child under the age of 12 months living with you for whom the purchased reusable nappies will be used.
Terms and conditions:
- The nappies received through the pilot scheme are not for resale. They will be marked to show they are a part of the scheme to prohibit resale for profit.
- If you don’t take to using the nappies you must donate them to the Cloth Nappy Library. You may contact us and we would be happy to help.
