Our General Undertaking is to dispatch all orders received within a 24 hour period once the order has been received and payment information supplied has been verified. All orders are shipped from Wexford, Ireland. For the best chance of next working day delivery if and where possible, we encourage ordering before 11:00. Please note that weekend and bank holiday orders are usually shipped the next working day. If ordering from abroad, we cannot guarantee a delivery timeframe, but we expect all deliveries to arrive within 5 working days. For orders to Ireland, over 92% of orders are delivered next working day. 

Once an order has been received, an automated email Order Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided, confirming all aspects of the order. A second email will be sent by a member of our team once the order has been dispatched. Your order is final. You may write to us if you wish to change your order, but we may not be able to respond to your request in time. 

Where possible, all our products will be shipped in compostable polymailer bags. These are incredibly durable yet light, and particularly easy to dispose of in a compost or recycling bin. We are conscious that large cardboard boxes are tricky to dispose of and take up a sizeable portion of your recycling waste, and we do not wish to contribute to this. Rest assured our packaging is durable, appropriate, and light.

The vast majority of our shipments include tracking. All our national shipments are fully tracked, and you are provided with a tracking number for free. Many of our international shipments are tracked all the way to you, with the remaining small minority tracked either to export from Ireland, or import to your designated country. We are not responsible for tracking information that is not accurately updated.

Delivery Charges

If your address is in Ireland or the EU, the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. No hidden charges. No hidden duties.

Our website will calculate the delivery charges automatically in the shopping cart once the relevant delivery country has been selected from the drop-down menu. Once selected, the delivery charge will be displayed for your country. Should you wish to arrange an alternate delivery method, particularly if you are an international customer, please email us at info@summersweetsbaby.com and we will assist in whatever way we can. Please note shipping is carefully calculated during checkout and therefore cannot be altered retrospectively by combining orders.

You may be liable to pay any taxes or import duty on items that you order. Failure to do so may result in your order being returned to us. In these circumstances we will endeavour to refund you for your order but not the cost of shipping or return. If a package is refused, you are responsible for a redelivery fee, and if you wish to cancel your order, a stocking fee will be taken from your order in addition to shipping costs.

In the event of any unforeseen delays to the order, you shall be notified of the delay by email. Our primary delivery partners are An Post, UPS, FedEx, and DPD.

Stock Availability

We always aim for you to receive your items as quickly as possible. Even though we keep our information as accurate as possible, there may be occasions when our stock level may not be adequate to support your order quantity. In this event, you shall be notified of any delay to your order by email or phone as soon as possible, and if you are not satisfied with a new expected despatch date, an offer of a full or partial refund will be made to you. If this offer is accepted, the refund will be made via the same payment method you originally used for that order.

Please note if any part of your order contains preorders, the entire order will be shipped in one go when the preorders are in stock.

Delivery Times

When your order has been dispatched, we will advise you by email of the dispatch date, the method used and any tracking numbers if and where applicable. At this time the responsibility of the safe delivery of your order falls to our nominated delivery company. We aim to have all national orders delivered within 48 hours. Due to unforeseen circumstances, for example weather conditions, Covid-19 delays etc, the expected delivery time of your order may be extended. Once dispatched, any request to re-schedule your order must be made with the delivery company directly using the details supplied to you in correspondence emails. 

Any time or date for dispatch/delivery stated by Summer Sweets Baby Limited is an estimate only and Summer Sweets Baby Limited shall not accept liability for any loss or damage or any consequential loss arising either directly or indirectly from delays in delivery howsoever caused.
