Refund policy
Please note all of our products are individually checked before being dispatched to you here in Wexford, Ireland. This means we dispatch to you with complete confidence that you will be 100% satisfied with your products.
In the unlikely event you decide to cancel your order:
-Please notify us as soon as is possible. If you have not received a response from us we have not seen your request and your order will be dispatched. You can do this via email: returns@summersweetsbaby.com
Where goods have already been dispatched to you, please note the following terms:
-For hygiene reasons we regret that we cannot accept returns of nappies or sanitary products unless there is a fault with the product;
-Your checkout total price (price paid) cannot be changed retrospectively;
-Items should be returned in their original condition with no signs of usage. You can return goods you have ordered from us at any time within 14 days of receipt for an exchange to the value of the goods bought minus a 30% restocking and admin fee, not including any postage and packing costs. The costs of returning goods to us shall be borne by you;
-If the items become unsealed after delivery unless the items are defective, we are under no obligation to refund or replace the items.
Upon receipt of the goods we will give you an exchange credit to the value of the goods returned. The rights to return the goods to us as referred to in clause will not apply in the following circumstances:
-In the event that the product has been used;
-In the event of personalised items/special orders/pre-orders;
-In the event that the product has been washed;
-In the event that the product has been damaged, or that the integral packaging has been damaged so that it is no longer in a saleable condition.
Please note gift cards and preorder products are non-refundable.
Please make sure you obtain a proof of postage receipt from whomever you leave your return parcel with. If your return doesn't reach us and you don't have proof you sent it back to us we won't be able to refund you. We are not liable for any costs incurred for proof of postage.
Any refunds that are subject to a processing fee via PayPal, Shopify, or your banking institution will require this fee to be borne by you. We will always endeavour to clarify this fee with you prior to a refund.
The provisions of this clause do not affect your statutory rights.
